You are working as the District Magistrate of a district. A major industrial project is proposed to be established in the district, which is expected to boost employment and the local economy. However, the project requires the acquisition of land belonging to some rural families.
Senior officials of the company request you to give quick approval and assure additional CSR support for development works in the district in return.
On the other hand, the affected villagers say that they are being pressured to give up their land without adequate compensation, rehabilitation and livelihood security.
Some of your senior officers are also putting pressure on you to approve the project quickly, as it will help the government achieve its investment and employment targets.
